is it blue because of the background behind it?

This skin is semi-transparent. It color depends on background which you use. Avoid use too light, too dark or variegated background.

Sun, Jun 1st at 07:30am (9 years ago)

Quantity of skin windows was reduced due to high CPU usage of some one core processors. Vitrum08 shows one month, but you can download Vitrum08d (map + dual calendar) skin set from skin homepage.

Maybe it is me, but I can not add any Events and To dos at all. There is no option to save them, and neither one is in the advanced options to be able to add.

Sun, Jun 22nd at 02:10pm (9 years ago)
Alex S says:

Right click on any window or tray icon > New task (or New event) > fill Summary and time > press OK.

Mon, Jun 23rd at 01:24pm (9 years ago)

I have tried both the window and the tray icon. When the dialogue box pops up the OK button is inactive. When I close the popup it asks if I want to save the changes. If I hit yes, it then states" Unable to find any calendar handlers for the event. The event was not saved." I am using Vista Home SP1. Thanks for your quick response.

Mon, Jun 23rd at 08:24pm (9 years ago)
Alex S says:

See Rainlendar FAQ "The OK button is disabled and I cannot create new events".

Tue, Jun 24th at 12:32am (9 years ago)

Thank you, thank you, thank you. That did the trick. I am still very new to Rainlendar and greatly appreciate your assistance. Your skin is far and away above anything else I have seen. GREAT WORK...

Thank you. May be you forgot turn on DST time (sun icon in upper left corner). See readme.txt.

Thu, Jul 10th at 09:11am (9 years ago)
klaaswes says:

Thank you. This does not help however. When I move the mouse over the sun icon, it gets dim. Clicking it gives me the standard Rainlendar menu. What exactly do you men by pushing the icon? Perhaps stupid, but it is always better to ask!

klaaswes says:

Sorry, when I move the mouse over the sun icon it lights up!!

Fri, Jul 11th at 07:45am (9 years ago)
klaaswes says:

Got it working. A new screen appears when clicking the sun icon with the correct time. Thank you a lot agein!

Fri, Jul 11th at 07:49am (9 years ago)
Alex S says:

Vitrum08w skin has two windows - for actual standard time (dim sun icon) and for actual summer time (bright sun icon). Klicking left key mouse on sun icon close current window and open another one. You can choose proper window in a list also (right click on window > Windows > Calendar DST).
This skin was tested for Windows XP and Vista for different time zones with standard and Daylight Saving (Summer) Time. Any bugs was found. I want help you but I can't reproduce your problem.

My fave! Many thanks, Alex!
Your screen shot shows a different color (magenta) for the event on Jan 25. All my events show up in blue. Is it possible to distinguish, say, birthdays from other events? If so, how?

Sun, Jul 27th at 07:00am (9 years ago)
Alex S says:

Default color of event date is magenta.
Events with category "Holiday" and "Public holiday" have orange color (like weekend days).
Events with category "Important" have red color. I think this color is best for difference between birthdays and other events and holidays.

Sun, Jul 27th at 03:56pm (9 years ago)

Hello Alex! Thanks for your wonderfull skin! However I do not see any public holidays. I would need Dutch public holidays.

Fri, Jan 23rd at 06:53am (9 years ago)
Alex S says:

Thank you for your apprecitation.
You should mark Public Holidays manually.
Find a list of Dutch holidays (e.g. Wikipedia).
Doubleclick on any day in Rainlendar, input Summary (Samenvatting) of Event (Gebeurtenis), for example New Year's Day (Nieuwjaar).
Set the date 01.01.2009 for Start time and End time, mark All day event.
Choose Category - Public Holiday (Officiele feestdag) - colour of this date will be yellow.
Go to Recurrence (Terugkeerpatroon) and mark Repeat every (Herhaal elke) 1 Years, Forever (Oneindig), OK.
Some holidays like Easter have a floating date. In this case you should set the date for every year

My favourite so far. I would have like the possibility to change the background colour, and the calendar fonts appear a little 'heavy' to me.
An excellent job nevertheless; the moon phases and world map are just brilliant !!!

cfvara says:

Hello Alex. Looks GREAT.
But how do I change the four cities and their timezones?

Wed, May 27th at 12:59am (8 years ago)
Alex S says:

It is not a simple task. You should change time zone in 4 skin windows xml files and make two new png shader-files with 366 frames of new city abbreviation. Transparent parts of shaders make visible current time according actual Standard-DST time transitions. Letters look better if you use clear type simulation. Anyway Rainlendar's Help is very useful for this work.

Kevin D says:

Hello Alex,
I was playing around with the time zone and I can all the time zones I need to work with one exception.
I can not get the India time zone working. The India time zone is +5:30. Will Vitrum display the time correctly for time zones that have the extra 1/2 hour?
Thanks for a great skin!

Wed, Jun 17th at 01:40am (8 years ago)
Alex S says:

Yes, I see this problem. I ask your question on Rainlendar forum (Support).

Thu, Jun 18th at 12:15pm (8 years ago)

I love the skin, especially the moon phase, but I have a question. How on earth do you change the font size in the event list? It is so tiny I can hardly read it and there appears to be no way of changing this. Same for the tooltips. I have increased the scale but that makes it fuzzy and still unreadable. Help?
